THIS IS A GREAT CONFEDERATE UNIFORM - In great period used condition
This is an all Original Confederate Uniform of General Walter H. Stevens, Chief Engineer for General Robert E. Lee. of the Army of Northern Virginia. General Stevens was the last Confederate across the Richmond bridge, as Richmond burned. He was by Generals Lees side during the surrender at Appomattox. The picture attached is the one that was published showing General Lee's to Generals during the Civil War. If you look close you can see that the uniform the General Stevens is wearing in the picture is this exact uniform. There are only three Confederate General Uniforms known to exist in private hand, this is one of the three.
