Original WWI 37th Division, ID'd Grouping

- U.S. WWI 37th "We'll Do It" -

 THIS IS A REAL NICE GROUPING - In great used condition                              

WWI 37th Division Army grouping ID'd to Pvt. W.J. Burns of Co. "F", 148th Infantry, 37th Division, all original period correct. Grouping includes: 1). His soldiers issued olive drab wool 1917 pattern tunic with 37th Division insignia patch (1st pattern) thick constructed wool felt rounded red, white and blue, one overseas service chevron, and honorable discharge chevron on his left arm.  2). His matching US Army issued wool breeches with "US Army buttons".  3). His web belt included and marked - "LONG 12-17" x2., with attachments-  4). US Canteen marked - "US", "F&C 1918".  5). Canteen Cup marked - "US", "1918", "B.A.CO.".  6). Canteen Cover marked - "LONG 11-17".  7). US M1905 Bayonet marked - "US 219628" on the right side, and marked - "SA" (Springfield Armory), "Flaming Bomb", "1907" on the left, included with Scabbard M1910 Woven Cotton Duck Cover, Rock Island Arsenal. Bayonet and scabbard is correct and in great shape.  8). 1917 US Helmet, marked - "ZA60", leather strap there and in good shape, helmet is nice with a little rust, nice battle used condition. 9).  M1910 Haversack, marked - "SIMMONS", "U.S.", "1918".  10). M1910 Intrenching Tool (Shovel) marked - "U.S."x2.  11). Intrenching Tool cover, marked - "U.S." on the front and marked - "A. E. L. & CO.", "8-18".  12). Gas mask cover, good shape, strap is broken. 13). One set green wool putties.  14). Two pictures - One with W.J. Burns and fellow soldier, the other picture of soldiers marching through the street, written on the bottom is ""Uncle Sam's Boys". 15). His 37th Division Veterans Association Card.

This is a real nice uniform I'd grouping, WWI original. The 37th Division fought in some horrific battles, the uniform of a WWI hero. These Army uniform groupings are getting harder to find. This grouping would make a great addition to any collection or museum.
