Original WWI 80th Division, 313th Machine Gunner's Battle Uniform

 THIS IS A RARE I'D GROUPING - In great used condition                              

This is a WW I 80th Division, 313th Machine Gun Battalion, Co. 'D', Grouping, ID'd Battle Uniform to Machine Gunner "Private H.E. Chadwick - all original period correct. Grouping includes the following: His original battle uniform, issued wool tunic and breeches. Tunic has two real nice collar devices, right side nice "U.S." and his left collar "cross rifles".  A nice appealing fabric 80th Division shoulder sleeve insignia, original and period correct. His sleeve has his service chevron, and "cross swords" patch (Combat Physical Training Instructor) must of been a tough guy. It also includes his wool overcoat, with the 80th division cloth patch on his left sleeve, this is a rare patch with a darker blue color for the mountains. The 80th took part in the battles of: "SOMME", "ST. MIHIEL", "MEUSE-ARGONNE", this guy was in some real hard fought battles. The tunic is in great shape. Overall a great original battle worn tunic, and overcoat, period correct, complete and in great shape. The grouping includes his matching wool breeches with some small moth holes, marked with manufactures tag - "Breeches" "Size 8 ","Phila. Depot, Q.M.C.". Grouping also includes the following: His WWI gas mask and his I'd canvas bag gas mask cover, marked with his name - "2708783 H.E. Chadwick", Co. D 313, G.G. BN., the other side marked - "798516" twice, "S-18-17", nice gas mask I'd bag. His US M1917 helmet marked "ZF 46" real clean nice helmet. His 1911 web belt, 1911 pistol leather holster, marked - "? R", "J.P.G.", 1911 pistol magazine pouch, marked "SEPT." "RUSSELL", "1918", his WWI canteen marked - "US"," A.G.M.Co.","1918", cup marked - "U.S.", "L.F. & C.", "1918", canteen cover marked - "The Miller-Hexter Co.", "1917" and his leggings, marked - "KAZOO, PUTTY LEGGINGS" 

This is a great original battle used grouping, machine gunner that was in the thick of the fight, that took part in a lot of major battles. If you want a real battle worn and used uniform from "The Great War" and part of the historical 80th Division, this is your grouping. These original WWI battle uniform groupings are getting imposable to find in this great shape, and battle used. A rare and exciting find for collectors adding to existing collections or starting a new premium collection. This would make a great addition to any fine collection or museum.
