WWI - U.S. Tank Corps Officer's Uniform Grouping - ORIGINAL RARE - SOLD

This is a WW I  US Tank Corps Officers (Captain) Uniform Grouping. All original period correct. Grouping includes the following: His officer's French tailored tunic, with "U.S." and side profile tank corps "Tank" devices on each side of this collar. His silver Captain insignia bars on his shoulders. On his left sleeve his honorable discharge chevron and his two overseas service chevrons. The buttons are bronze eagle with "PARIS" maker back marks. Interior is a nice olive silk twill lining with two breast pockets. French officers style coat. His wool breeches, and officers garrison cap with silver captain bar insignia, cap has a few moth holes in front right, still looks good. His officers campaign hat with officers cord, and leather ridding boots. His Officers Sam Brown belt with 1911 holster dated - "1917". Great shape and real nice leather. 

Overall this is an excellent overseas U.S. officers original battle used grouping, that took part in "The Great War" and part of the US Tank Corps. These original WWI officer battle uniform groupings of the tank corps are rare and getting harder to find in this type condition. This would be a great add to any fine collection or museum.
