This is a  100% original WWII German Model 42 (M-42) Single Decal Italian Campaign Camouflage Luftwaffe Helmet. This is an excellent example of a period painted, Italian Campaign, Camouflage Luftwaffe Helmet.  The single decal is in great shape and all original to the helmet. Luftwaffe Eagle is 95% intact. The rear inside skirt is marked with the steel lot number "5188". No dents, cracks, splits or extra holes in this helmet.

The liner is all original, and original to the helmet. All the rivets/split pins and washers are correct and intact. The liner leather is in good shape, light brown leather, with normal wear and discoloration from use, and is marked size "56". 

 In all, this is a fantastic example of a German Italian Campaign Luftwaffe Helmet, all original. This helmet has never been disassembled. The chinstrap is a reproduction, a good reproduction, and is included for FREE.
