Original WWII German First Model Tropical Pith Helmet

THIS IS A NICE VTROPICAL PITH HELMET- In great period used condition

This is an all Original WWII German First Model Tropical Pith Helmet. Nice sharp Tri-color Shield on one side and a nice crisp Army Eagle on the other. The insignia's are real nice and stand out nicely on this pith helmet. The insignia's are original to the pith helmet, and nicely used period looking. The finish of the helmet is clean and looks real nice. The sweatband is original and fully intact, made of tan leather, and stamped with a number "78" under the band. The upper inside dome is made of orange oil cloth which remains intact and clean. Original correct leather chinstrap, made with tan leather. Some light stain s from period use, and a small missing piece of the brim missing and damage. All typical of a period used helmet. Overall a nice German Tropical Pith Helmet that displays well.

This Tropical Pith Helmet would make a fine part of anyone's collection, mint condition. This is a fantastic original German Tropical Pith Helmet in mint condition.
