Original Complete Japanese Tropical Battle Uniform Group

 THIS IS A NICE DISPLAY GROUPING - In great battlefield condition

This is an excellent museum quality WWII all original Imperial Japanese Tropical Battle Uniform Group. The grouping consists of 1). A battle worn tropical tunic in great shape, type 98, with button air vents under the arms, with true and correct manufactures marks inside. 2). The tropical pants are also type 98, marked manufactures stamp inside, all original, great battle worn shape. 3). Nice steel original Japanese combat helmet, real nice liner and overall nice battle field used piece. 4). His standard army issued combat shoes, with hob nails, original and in great shape. 5). His Japanese army issued original and marked puttees (leggings). 6). His tactical gear, leather belt, front ammo pouch, water bottle, and haversack, all original period items. 7). Bayonet frog and bayonet attached to the belt, properly marked and period original. 8). His tropical combat cap, the star on the front was removed at some point. Original, and marked inside the cap. The soldiers original repair sewing thread and needle are still attached to the inside top of the cap. 9). A Japanese swagger stick w/integral hidden knife - this Japanese swagger stick was taken off the body of a killed Japanese officer during the liberation of a Japanese prison camp in the pacific. Later it was added to this grouping, real nice rare original piece. (NOTE: THE JAPANESE ARISAKA TYPE 99 RIFLE AND IT"S BAYONET IS NOT PART OF THIS GROUPING, THE RIFLE IS BEING USED AS DISPLAY ONLY).

A great museum quality exhibit group for the War in the Pacific. Japanese original uniforms are getting very hard to find. This is museum quality and displays real nice. This would make a great addition to any museum or fine collection.
