THIS IS A GREAT VISOR CAP - In great period used condition
This is a real nice U.S. Naval Visor Cap, 1943 Gray style "working uniform" cap. This cap has the manufacture stamp inside "Art Caps" Militaria Headwear". This handsome cap is a Captain or Commander as indicated by the single row of embordered oak leaves and acorns on the visor. The cap band is 1 1/2" wide and the 1/2" wide chinstrap is made of gold lace sewn to a leather backing. The Eagle device is the slight curved style, in great shape and looks real nice. SOLD
This is a great example of an original U.S. Naval Officers "working uniform" Visor Cap. The Naval Officer's working uniforms are some of the hardest uniforms to find. This would be a nice addition to any collection or museum.
